JDM Addict imports a wide range of specialist automotive parts, electronics and other items from Japan.

Items imported from Japan include but are not limited to: gauges and other informational displays; boost, VTEC, timing and other controllers; seats and seat rails; steering wheels; performance parts such as air filters and dump valves; alloy wheels; audio equipment and adapters; clothing and magazines.

All items are inspected and tested before dispatch to you from the UK in secure packaging. Secure online payments via the website including Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal and Stripe. Fast, worldwide shipping is available for all items!

Sourcing from Japan

As well as stocking items in the UK for fast, worldwide delivery, we can also source items at your request. Here’s a quick look at the process:

Contact

Please contact us with your request. Most of the sourcing is done on Yahoo Auctions but JDM Addict can shop at most major outlets on your behalf. We do not currently import large parts such as body kits or engines. There are the usual restrictions on imports but all requests are considered. We can import anything from toys to clothes to car parts, no problem.

Sourcing

It’s better if you have found the item yourself but if you can’t then JDM Addict will find your desired items for you. Most of our items come by air freight so the wait is short, larger items such as shock absorbers or wheels will come by sea. The cost of freight is included in the quote. Import taxes are paid by JDM Addict, the price you see will be the price you pay to your door.

Payment

Once you’re happy with your quote, JDM Addict will take 50% of the full cost of the item up front. If you’re in the UK, there’s no extra to pay as cover the import taxes, usually as part of a larger shipment. Once the item arrives in the UK, we’ll contact you for the balance. If you’re an international customer, you may be required to pay 100% up front.

I've never heard of JDM Addict, is this site safe to buy from?

Absolutely! Our website uses industry standard 256-bit SSL technology to secure your connection. Stripe process all the website payments – Stripe was established in 2011 and is a 7.5 billion dollar company. For your convenience and peace of mind, Google Pay and Apple Pay are also available when using the appropriate browser or device. We also accept PayPal!

If you want extra security for your order, feel free to order from me via eBay where you can also check our feedback. It will cost you slightly more though due to eBay’s fees.

How long will it take to receive my item?

It depends where you’re located. We despatch items quickly, usually the same day if ordered before 2pm. we don’t use budget postal services so typically items won’t take more than 2 working days to reach you if you’re in the UK. You can track your parcel in My Account.

Europe: 5-10 working days
Rest of the world: 5-15 working days
